Barraca Chic’s resort ’15 swimwear

For Funk Fashion Week in Miami, Barraca Chic, a firm from Switzerland, debuted its Resort 2015 collection featuring Swarovski embellishments, the finest fabrics and unique silhouettes. Inspiration for this collection stemmed from the gods and goddesses of ancient Greece. Their swimsuits were highlighted with asymmetrical silhouettes and metallic gold rhombus prints.

The beachwear brand designs contemporary styles that women can wear while sailing through the islands. The 2015 women’s collection features a one-piece, high-neck style. Swarovski detailed swimsuits are available in navy and yellow, along with asymmetrical one-piece suits that are embellished with the signature crystal square.
In their men’s swimwear collection, briefs continued to bring the heat to Miami with low-cut European styles that were influenced by the Greek gods Zeus, Apollo and Poseidon. The swim briefs were modeled in navy, white, coral and olive. They all featured some of the metallic rhombus prints seen throughout the collection.
The classic Barraca Chic swim trunks were shown in olive. However, these trunks are available in a variety of colors and designed in high-quality, quick-drying fabrics that allow men to go from swimming to a beachside restaurant.
Accessories included cashmere and silk scarves, with the signature Barraca Chic logos, in shapes that are inspired by ancient Greek architecture. For this last show, Nina shoes accompanied the women’s collection. Jewelry was provided by Arme De L’Amour.
