Miami Beach, FL – Bikini Luxe, a new swimwear company, takes inspiration from fashion finds all over the world and the notion that comfort is just as important as style. Bikini Luxe sells pieces made from soft fabrics that embody chic and effortless beachwear and a mix of luxury and fun.
South Florida native Candice Galek grew up shopping in the hot sunshine hoping to one day have a boutique of her own. Now she has created a Miami Beach-based swimwear and accessory store featuring top selling brands Montce Swim, Eberjey, Peixoto and Tai Jewelry, some of which have been featured in high-profile magazines and are trending in the fashion world.
Sports Illustrated recently featured actress Kate Upton in a hot pink Peixoto swimsuit in its 50th Anniversary Issue. The Flamingo one piece has gained fame by being seen on multiple magazine covers this year, including Kholé Kardashian wearing a black version of it on the cover of Cosmopolitan’s April 2014 issue. Bikini Luxe offers it in two colors, hot pink and black.
The Peixoto collection is designed by Colombian-born Mauricio Esquenazi. His string bikinis are in an array of cutouts that give you multiple options on how to tie and style your suit and how to have it sit low on your hips. Bikini Luxe says Esquenazi is kind, helpful and knows how to dress a woman.
Montce Swim by Alexandra Grief is another brand Bikini Luxe offers. It is one of the shop’s favorites because they say every piece fits and flatters perfectly. According to Bikini Luxe, “Long story short we love the designer, and the brand, because they are both amazing and full of surprises.”
Eberjey Swim by Ali and Mariela has also been featured on magazine covers. The Eberjey brand was founded in 1996 to create pretty “under things” for real, confident women that did not sacrifice comfort. It started as a lingerie company and was known for its form-fitting boy short underwear flying off the shelves, but eventually expanded to lounge wear and swimwear.
But Bikini Luxe also goes beyond the bikini.
Also popular on www.bikiniluxe.com is an accessory collection by Tai Jewelry. It features bracelets, earrings and necklaces in silver, gold or rose-gold ornamented with cupcakes, skulls, anchors, arrows, horseshoes and more. These pieces range from $18-$79.
Most swimwear on Bikini Luxe ranges in price from $60-$85 per piece in a variety of colors. One-piece suits like the popular Peixoto mentioned earlier go for $99.
The online shop offers bathing suit cover ups and an Eberjey Gisele Tunic lounge wear piece as well as a few of their own limited edition Bikiniluxe Swimwear pieces. The shop also sells Circle 21 soy candles made from premium soy wax out of locally found wine bottles. They currently sell six different fragrances.
